Can You Meditate For Five Minutes A Day?
Last Friday, I saw this tweet and decided to join @upsdownsyogamom in a daily 5 minute meditation practice for one week.
I know there are different ways to meditate and different meditation techniques out there, but I prefer guided meditation because it helps my mind from wondering.
I love all things spa and find it extremely relaxing listening to guided meditations that have spa-like tranquil meditation music. I have several meditation CDs, but when I want something new to meditate with, I can find endless free online meditation options on iTunes (podcasts) and YouTube.
This is How I Have Been Meditating for the Past Week…
Day 1: Grounding Meditation by Sunny Dawn Johnston
Day 2: Mommy Meditations by Kerri Parks
Day 3: Archangel Michael Protection Meditation by Sunny Dawn Johnston
Day 4: Tranquility Meditation by Stevan Pasero
Day5: Morning Chakra Meditation
Day 6: Ocean Guided Meditation by Deepak Chopra
Day 7: Mindfulness Guided Meditation with Deepak Chopra
Do you meditate? If yes, how do you meditate?
I am so thrilled that you were inspired to meditate daily? Did you find it challenging? I will for sure check out some of the podcasts you used. Thank you so much for joining in the meditation challenge!
I don’t but I feel like I should take 5 minutes. I think it would be a nice way to refresh and clear my head of clutter making it easier to focus on my goals.
Yoga Mom – I’ve been meditating off and on for a while, but have not been blogging about it as much as I have wanted to. Thanks again for the push.
Mama Violet – After everyone leaves in the morning, I settle into my office and try to start my day with 5 minutes of meditation. It’s a tranquil and intentional way for me to start my work day. But sometimes twitter, FB, and email pull me in before I get a chance to be still.
For me this kind of activities apply in meditation must acquire frequently to have some refreshing on your mind…
