As part of my partnership with Whole Foods Market Philly, I’m learning about and trying some of their supplements. I was fortunate enough to interview an amazing staff member in the Whole Body section of the Wynnewood, PA Whole Foods Market store. I was amazed with the wealth of knowledge she had about all of the supplements sold there.
I’m currently using the following supplements…
1. FISH OIL: I am taking two Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 1280 mg capsules every morning. This type of fish oil has high-potency omega-3s, supports the brain and nervous system, helps optimize immune function, and supposedly supports a positive mood. Come to think about it, I have been pretty happy and in a great mood since I started taking it. The best thing I love about Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega fish oil capsules is that they do not smell or taste fishy!!!!!!!
2. PROBIOTICS: I am taking one Ultimate Flora Everyday Probiotic capsule every morning. This type of probiotic is manifactured to be room temperature, which makes it super conveinient to travel with and is great for low maintanece people like me (because no refrigeration is required). Ultimate Flora Everyday Probiotics have 15 billion live cultures per capsule and is meant to promote digestive balance and support digestive and immune health. Plus it’s dairy and gluten free.
3. PLANT-BASED PROTEIN POWDER: I am adding one scoop of Renew Life Skinny Gut Ultimate Shake (Vanilla) into my smoothies every morning. This plant-based protein power is organic, grain-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free… plus there’s no added sugar, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. Renew Life Skinny Gut protein powder promotes digestive health and gut balance and is low in fat (with only 130 calories per serving).
I’m not Martha Stewart and I don’t make videos like BuzzFeed Tasty, but here’s a video I created showing you my new breakfast routine. And yes, it’s obvious from this video that I do not currently have a skinny gut. I am, however, on track to get my gut healthier and leaner this year.
Do you take supplements or have an easy/healthy breakfast you can share? Let me know in the comments below… I’d love for you to share your healthy-gut wisdom with me.

I really need to get a good breakfast routine together. The mornings are so rushed.
Great information. I have ulcerative colitis and have taken a probiotic in the past. Would definitely be interested in starting one again.
I take probiotics religiously every morning & have for 7 years now. It was the best thing I did for healing inflammation, leaky gut, digestive issues, sinus infections….you name it. So many of our problems start in the gut. Keep it up, Stacey, you’re doing great!
