I thought it would be fun for the Create a Balance community to get to know each other a little better with the classic game of two truths and a lie. I’ll reveal my answers on Friday.

Stacey’s Two Truths and a Lie…

1. Oprah called me!
2. I was on a reality show on MTV!
3. I danced on stage with Billy Joel!

Leave your two truths and a lie in the comments section. Be sure to come back on Friday to reveal your two truths.

  • I believe I could distinguish your lies from your truth in a video so that I could observe your face and gestures and listen to your voice. The linguistic content of the three sentences as such reveals little about the nature of your deception skills (or lack thereof).

  • I just thought, do you say “Hit on me” in the US? It doesn’t mean punch, it means “made a pass” or tried to get me to go home with him.

    Kelly

  • @Kelly – I’m guessing your truths are an Australian TV celebrity hit on you at a bar and that you were unfortunately robbed at knife point in Mexico City. And yes, “Hit on me” is used in the US. 🙂

  • You know…I’m having great difficulty with this game. I am finding it so so hard to lie. Not sure why…I’m already choking away here. I think I’d stay out until your next post. I can see it is fun for the rest, by the way!
