Update: JulieFBT is the winner of the SEED Body Care Giveaway.
Sometimes life balance is found in the small moments of life; in the gentle and natural elements of fire, air, earth, and water. I can quickly become centered with a camp fire, a walk in fresh air, my bare feet on the Earth, or a relaxing shower with hot water.
I don’t know about you, but as mom, I don’t always get to take too many enjoyable showers. When I actually do get to shower, it’s sometimes very quick unless I make a conscious effort to use this time as a mini spa get-away. YES! Over the past year, I have learned how to turn some of my showers (when I get one) into a mini spa retreat.
My mini-spa experience skyrocketed to a new level over the past month when, courtesy of Buzz Cooperative, I had the opportunity to review citrus thyme body soap, a conditioning shampoo bar, and citrus blend body lotion by SEED Body Care.
Instead of feeling the need to rush through my shower, the luxurious experience of using these products kept me in the moment and truly gave me back my morning ME TIME.
The most unique product has been the conditioning shampoo bar. I traveled with this shampoo for Thanksgiving and would recommend it for anyone who does not want to mess with liquid shampoo or airport security liquid requirements when they are traveling. More importantly, I LOVE how my hair feels and looks after I use this product. This shampoo bar is literally the only shampoo I have found this winter that has kept my hair static-free.
SEED is also unique because their products are enriched with nutrient-rich grape seed byproducts, which are packed with powerful antioxidants and Vitamin E.

Me time is all about the bubble bath! There is nothing like a sugar cookie candle, a book, and a tub full of bubbles to create a haven of bliss.

My me time is after everyone has gone to bed and I get to sneak in a few minutes reading my romance novel. However, every once in a blue moon hubby takes pity on me and arranges the bathroom with candles, fills the tub (including bubblies) and I get to sequester myself in luxury while I, again, read my romance novel! 🙂
Great giveaway! Thanks Stacy!

I see some nice ideas here. All body care cosmetics are great idea. In my neighborhood (only docks and factories) people are sad, gray and their skin looks tired. They could use such things.
I take a bath pillow and a good book and then take a long soak in a scented bubble bath 😉

I definitely try to make my shower feel like a spa experience- hello, the only time I have to myself in the day! I love to use Korres natural shower gels, right now I have the Vanilla Cinnamon for the winter, and I bought a bottle of Mint Tea to use when the warmer weather comes around (I know that’s FAR away, but I’m kind of a planner 🙂 Then, I have a luxurious body cream by Agent Provacateur that I use afterwards, it really adds some glam to my day!

Hayden – Ahhh. I have not taken a bubble bath in a long time. I’ll have to write that into my calendar for this week!
julieFBT – Fun. After everyone has gone to bed, I sneak in a few minutes of General Hospital…I’m sure the same guilty pleasure of a romance novel.
Martin – Relaxing with fun body care can lift our spirits. Thanks for sharing your neighborhood’s story.
Sarah – I have never been successful taking a book into the bath. Happy to hear it works for you!
Post-Modern Jen – I hear. My shower is my mini spa experience too and one of the only moments I have for myself. Thanks for all of the great ideas! I can use some extra glam in my day!
