I’m writing this post listening to Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon singing karaoke to “I Am Woman”. Maybe it’s not their best performance, it may sound off key, but I love the beat and how they belt out the words. It reminds me of summer days back in the 80’s when my friends and I would lower all of the windows in the car, crank up the radio, and sing our hearts out.
“I Am Woman” is one of 18 songs on the new Sex and the City 2: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack that I have been asked to review. I like many of the songs, but I was hoping for an upbeat CD that I could use for a heart pumping 60 minute power walk. Since that was my expectation, I was a little disappointed. But I would play it for background music if I have people over.
