Happy Self-Love Day!
A decade ago Christine Arylo invited me to co-host a Self-Love Day event in Chicago. Little did I know that would lead me down a 10-year journey of not only truly & deeply loving myself and staying true to myself, but also becoming a founding director and teacher at the Path of Self Love School and doing my part to help thousands of women (and a few brave men)…
- To never settle for less than their heart and soul desires
- To be kind, gentle, patient, and understanding with themselves
- To only have loving respectful relationships
-
To receive what they need on all levels
-
To treat their bodies as sacred
-
To truly believe they are enough and are doing enough
-
To take empowered action to create the lives they truly desire
-
To stay true to and take care of themselves, no matter what.
In 2020, my wish for you is for you to…
- Give yourself what you need, without guilt
-
Be kind, supportive & gentle with yourself, even when you fail
-
Accept your body as it is & love it more as you age
-
Only have loving, respectful relationships, and lots of them
-
Go for your dreams, without apology or holding back
-
Believe in yourself & your gifts and give them powerfully
-
Trust your inner wisdom, even when it seems “crazy”
-
Stop comparing yourself and judging yourself
-
Choose to stay true to yourself and know your worth, no matter what
May you love FULLY this year, starting with loving yourself.
Only love,
Stacey
P.S. I’m sending a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Governor Cuomo for officially proclaiming February 13 as Self-Love Day in the State of New York in conjunction with National Self-Love Day (which was founded by Christine Arylo and the Path of Self Love School). Cuomo is declaring today as Self-Love Day in the state of New York to increase awareness of mental health and to show the importance of self-worth!
