My 40 and Fab birthday celebration started this afternoon as my girlfriend and I flew to Palm Springs, California! It was a long day of traveling filled with lots of laughter, a viewing of Just Go With It on the plane, and a gorgeous decent into the Palm Springs airport. Living in Chicago, one of the things I missed the most are mountains…and for the next 7 days I am surrounded by majestic stunning mountains!

When we arrived at our villa at The Westin Mission Hills, our red shiny Chevy Equinox was waiting for us…
And we were greeted with a 40 and Fab birthday celebration surprise from the staff at the Westin Mission Hills Resort and Spa.
And we ended the evening with dinner and drinks at Burgers and Beer.
