Hi Stacey,
I am leaving a comment to win this gorgeous giveaway.
My favorite ME time is Tuesday afternoons when the kids are with my parents and I am not working. I am home doing what I like (painting, reading, writing, planning my life) or I will schedule a massage.
I do have a daily ME time that is in the morning (while getting up I plan my day saying ot myself how I want it to be, how I want to feel, who I want to be, what I want to achieve etc) and in the evening (writing down 5 things I am grateful for, what gift I received that day and what I gained that day).
I have also sent you a Facebook friend request 🙂
And I tweeted your giveaway.
Yay!
Mimi – Thank you for your enthusiasm and for sharing your beautiful daily Me Time practice. I’m getting up right now, so…I want to BE peaceful and playful today, I want to FEEL alive and present throughout the day, I want to BE an active parent to my children, and I want to achieve a handful of things on my “things I choose to do” list. Thanks for allowing me to experience your daily Me Time this morning.
My “me” time activity is actually reading. I love to do that and it’s just relaxing most of the time.
Hi Stacy…You are always creating excitement! Thanks!
For “me time” each day I meditate, contemplate and pray.
I also do a gratitude list and share it! I love to journal, write and read and keep up with my areas of interest! I also do yoga, dance and hike! Here’s to living and loving it!
Peace, Love and Peace,
Diane
I have a few mini “me times” throughout the day.
The first is getting up before the kids when I have a cup of coffee and read my favorite blogs to stary my day with a few laughs. I usually get about 10 minutes since my youngest are early risers.
The second is mid-morning when they kids are all entertained and I hop on the treadmill. I think about what I want to read and write and then just enjoy the exercise while the fan blows directly on me. For some reason the fan just makes me feel better. I usually get 30 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes a little less. It just depends on what’s going on.
Last one is at the very end of the day when all the kids are asleep. I crawl into bed with a great book. If I don’t end my day with some reading, I find I’m crabby the next morning. This is usually about 20 minutes.
My best metime recently was a gift box a friend bought me. It was full of fantastic soap goodies. To have a quiet soak all to myself was wonderful. She got it from http://www.metimegifts.co.uk
My favorite me time is spent working in my flower gardens-surrounded by the scents and colors of flowers always makes me relax.
My best ME time is going to the gym at 11pm after everyone else is asleep and vegging out on the elliptical in an empty gym. It gives me a clear mind, gets me away from the computer and is something I do for myself. Plus it helps to energize me for a little bit of work when I get home.
what a nice give-away from such a nice blog!
my favorite me-time activity is walking or yoga – although it doesn’t happen very often…i get such a boost!
thanks for the reminder to spend some time to rejuvinate 🙂
and…i follow this blog on my igoogle page 🙂
…. and am going to get onto facebook now to become your friend 🙂
thanks again!
wishing big beautiful blessings!
I get me time by exercising 🙂
