Celebrating My Guest Post
Today I am celebrating my guest post over at Blogging Without a Blog. Check it out and make a commitment to do more things badly!
Celebrating New Members of this Community
Every Friday I will be introducing and celebrating new members of the Create a Balance community. Please take a moment to welcome this week’s new members…..
- Welcome Toni from It Is Nap Time.
- Welcome Kathy from The Sassy Kathy.
- Welcome JB from Mental Manifestation.
Celebrating My Gratitude Attitude
Inspired by Urban Panther’s Marvelous Monday post, where she describes good things that happened to her and where she encourages people to share something marvelous that has happened to them, I have decided to keep an online gratitude journal. Every day I am writing one thing that I am grateful for and I will post my gratitude attitude every Friday.
1. My family’s unconditional love
2. Safe roads
3. My job
4. Finding long lost friends on facebook
5. Head cold medicine
6. Mammograms
7. My children’s health
I welcome you to reflect on your week,
see the goodness in your life, and
share what you are grateful for in the comments section.

Hi Stacey!
Very cool – you’re the guest writer over at Barbara’s blog — she is lucky to have you!! New people here – awesome – hey there – Toni, Kathy, and JB! I think you’ll like it around here – Stacey keeps you thinking, and makes you feel good!
I’m celebrating life by watching the sunrise this morning, looking into the woods in the backyard – with the snow on the evergreens – a very peaceful start to today…
Lances last blog post..A Simple Holiday and Life Hack
Lance – I’m excited to be Barbara’s substitute teacher for the day! Watching the sunrise, embracing nature, and being in the moment of peace is an inspiring way to start the day. I hope your day keeps getting better and better.
Stacey,
Your lesson today was FABULOUS over at Blogging without a Blog – as usual.
I LOVE the “Celebrate Your Life Friday” here as well! Being thankful for safe roads – it’s just one of those “little” things I take for granted when instead I should be grateful and recognize they’re something to celebrate!
Kathy – Virtual Impaxs last blog post..Web Terms You Need to Know: Landing Pages
Hi Stacey – It’s an honor to have you as a “substitute teacher”/guest writer on my blog. Your lesson is awesome and one that has me thinking. Too often we strive for perfectionism and get no where, so like you said, it’s best to do things badly so we can get our toes wet, continue learning and get better each step of the way.
Barbara Swaffords last blog post..The Unseen Benefit of Commenting
I don’t keep a gratitude journal although this is not a bad idea at all.
Today, I am grateful for the beautiful California weather. Oh, and for coffee. 🙂
Awesome guest post, by the way.
Vered – MomGrinds last blog post..Are Blogs And eBooks Inferior To Printed Books?
Kathy – There are so many people who have road rage these days. Do these people ever stop to be grateful that we have roads? Some people in this world (if they are lucky) ride mules on road-less terrain.
Barbara – As I mentioned on your blog, thank you so much for this amazing experience. You have a beautiful community and I’m honored to be having this opportunity.
Vered – Keeping a gratitude journal does significantly help you realize how abundant your life is each and every day. Enjoy your beautiful California weather. Today, I am grateful from cozy blankets and my heater (it is 12 degrees in Chicago).
I am grateful for the gift of my crazy-wonderful little girl, and I am also grateful that today I reminded myself to be present in the moment.
Jen – Today I am celebrating your awareness of being present in the moment.
What a great idea Stacey!
My little one was sick – so I am grateful she is getting better.
I am really grateful for this online community :). It means a lot when I sit home and work – all by myself!
I cannot keep up with all the blogs I would like to read though.
What a wonderful way to honor your community too 🙂
Maya – I cannot keep up with all the blogs I want to read/comment on either. I wish I knew the magic method, but I’m doing the best I can.
I try to write several things I am grateful for everyday. Even it if its “just” the local farmer who’s job is to grow wonderful produce and drive it to the farmers markets that I frequent. Being thankful even for the little things makes my day.

And I am grateful for shared inspirations amongst bloggers!
Urban Panthers last blog post..Birch bark
Carla – The more I write down things I’m grateful for (big and small) the more I can manage embracing the chaos in this world.
Urban Panther – Your blog is filled with jewels of inspiration!
hi stacey – thanks for the words of wisdom throughout your blog – i think we all need a reminder sometimes of things to be grateful for… and how we shouldn’t sweat the small stuff. thanks 🙂
the sassy kathys last blog post..Happy Weekend!
In a day and age where staying negative and forgetting what is good is the trend, this post is good timing. We all need a break sometimes to recognize the good -weather it’s our job, family, friends, cats, food on the table. Keeps things in perspective for sure.
Wanted to say Congratulations on being an excellent substitute teacher! 😛
Ricardo Buenos last blog post..Yup…I’m Addicted to Social Media! You?
Hi Stacey. Good job on your substitute teacher job on BWAB! Hey I like your idea of promoting the new members of your community.
Davinas last blog post..Step Out Of Crisis And Into Power
Hi Stacey, this is probably a good time for me to focus on gratitude, considering I’m not really feeling it lately. So, I’ll say I am grateful for:
– the health and safety of myself and my family
– the love and support of my friends
– my wonderful readers and blogging mates
– my spectacularly flowering garden
– my many Christmas celebrations which add laughter and joy to my life and mean I have friends and family who want me around 🙂
– winning my son’s pre-school Christmas raffle – Yay!
See, I knew I’d feel better 🙂
