If You Are Relatively New To My This Blog…
…you have arrived at a very exciting time. My little one mom blog (that used to be called Create a Balance) has officially become The Mom Renewal Project, which is a strong community of amazing moms that have authentic heart-felt voices.
The Mom Renewal Project is for moms who want to reclaim, rejuvenate, and re-balance their lives. It’s for moms who want to reconnect with their true selves (ya know, that person inside of you that you don’t get to spend too much time with these days). It’s for moms who want to feel renewed and nourished. It’s for moms who want to live meaningful lives and who want to feel alive. It’s for moms who want to stop the insanity of their cyclical daily routines, even for just a moment, to recharge so they can live their best lives both as women and moms.
I am full of gratitude for all of the Mom Renewal Moms who share their stories with the world. Already, these amazing bloggers have shared stories that related to:
- Admitting when we are a mess, to knowing when it’s time to re-energize.
- Admitting self-care doesn’t come easy, to knowing when it’s time to laugh.
- Admitting when we use food as a drug, to knowing when it’s time to go to the spa.
- Admitting when we ignore our pre-wife-mom-self, to knowing when it’s time to start moving our bodies.
- Admitting there’s a monster lurking within us, to knowing when it’s time to discover what awaits us outside of our comfort zones.
These women are gifting the world with their words and I’m honored to be collaborating with them. Let me know if you are interested in becoming a contributing writer for The Mom Renewal Project. At this time, I am also accepting one-time guest posts too.
If You Are Not New To My This Blog…
…then you may be wondering where I have been and why I’m not writing all of my own posts. My non-blogging sister, who reads my RSS feed [hi BLH if you’re reading this] recently told me that she’s excited when a Mom Renewal feed comes into her in-box, but then gets a little disappointed when she sees that the post was not written by me. She admits she doesn’t read the posts that are not mine.
I hope my sister, and all the moms who read this blog, can see how much more they can gain from engaging with a collective, yet diverse, voice.
Are You There Blog, It’s Me Stacey, and I’m a Busy Mama!
I will definitely be part of this blog’s collective voice and will write blog posts on a regular basis. I will also be doing much much more.
- I’ll be working on growing this blog and increasing the power of its reach.
- I’ll be engaging with companies and brands who want to better understand the cravings moms have to recharge – body, mind, and spirit.
- I’ll be expanding my free Mom Renewal Moments services.
- I’ll be preparing for my first phone-based virtual Mom Renewal Group for mom bloggers (space is limited).
- I can’t forget to mention that I’ll be hanging out at the beach and playing in the sprinkler with my kids.
- I’ll also be heading to BlogHer in NYC thanks to my sponsors Nature’s Basin and Feld Entertainment.
I look forward to going on this adventure with you. Together, I know we can be more mindful about the importance of self-care for moms.
Stacey, I’m so excited for you and the changes that are coming to your blog. I’m happy to read that you’ll be carving out time for yourself and your family in you “to do” list. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the process.

Stacey,
You’re doing wonderful things here in this space! And I’m excited for you, and for the possibilities you’re opening up to. This is a real gift you’re giving for Mom’s out there. Doing this through the collective voice of many – you also just open up to so many more ideas flowing throughout these pages.
Best to you, in all of this!! And – enjoy your summer with that amazing family of yours!!

I thought as a reader, but not so often commenter here, I should just say this looks great and what a fun idea….a collective blog for rejuvenating moms…awesome.
I wish blogging had been around when I was parenting, but it is nice to have some place to refer busy moms to come pay a visit, with a cuppa!
Good ideas
Yes, I am here. Thanks for including me in your Blog! I’m so proud of everything you do!
Thank you, Stacey, I am grateful for you and all that you’re doing. I have learned the hard way, what happens when you don’t make the effort and find the time to connect. It is not a pretty picture. I’m digging myself out of the submersion I had with 3 small boys under the age of 10, and realizing how much I need to be with others.
I wish I had discovered blogging LONG before I did. It has literally saved my sanity.
